Amazon car must-haves, no literally- you must have.
Ok guys, this week I’m going to tell you some car must haves from our good sis Amazon! I for one lovee my car, that’s my everything, that’s my baby and my safe place. It’s mines so of course I have to keep her clean, sharp and useful. I’m telling you, after you read this list you’re going to love your car even more!
1. A trash can, duh.
Let’s face it, we all be eating in these cars. Even if you say you don’t, we still need a trash can for everyday things such as receipts, straw paper, wrappers etc. And this one from Amazon clips on the headrest of your seat. Now most people clip on the trash can and the actual bin be facing towards the back.
Now, I don’t know about yall, but that shit doesn’t make sense. Why would you have something that you use every day facing the backseat? Now if there’s someone in your backseat every day, by all means go ahead. But if it’s just you on a everyday basis and occasionally a passenger turn that damn bin towards the front like I have it. That way your literally just reaching over to discard your trash. And when you do have a passenger you just flip it to the back. Wala. You’re welcome.
2. If you gone be on your phone, at least be safe about it.
I have horrible hand-eye coordination. If I look down for the slightest second, trust me that Jeep is going all over the road so I find it best for my phone to be in eye view and secure, so that way I don’t have to go chasing it all around the car.
I found these car magnets on Amazon in a two pack for around $15. Why am I obsessed with these you ask? They don’t clip to vents, which will end up blocking your air or heat that’s blowing out, and they don’t look a hot ass mess by having a suction cup hanging from the windshield or dashboard. They have this circle base that comes with adhesive on the bottom that you can stick literally anywhere on your car. Also, in the pack, is a circle magnet that attaches to the back of your phone, yes it works even through your phone case. And when I tell you, it looks so modern and minimalistic and the phone? IT DON'T MOVE.
3. A dog bed, cuz I’m a MOTHA.
If you have a fur baby like me then you know that they liveeee for a nice long car ride. So, if you enjoy taking them for a nice ride as you do errands or just roam the town this one is for you. After realizing that Bounce lowkey be messing up my leather seats, I knew I had to buy something for him to be on while in the car. So, I just headed to Target (I know it’s an Amazon article but if you want the tea, just focus) and grabbed this nice dog bed to go in the back seat. You need nothing fancy, literally just a regular dog bed will do.
What I also added to this life hack was this car leash off of Amazon. Bounce goes crazy every time we’re in a drive through and any time he sees any and everybody out of that back window, so the car leash works to keep him in one spot and not all over the damn car.
4. Some Necessities
Ok this isn’t technically from Amazon, but this is a must have. Grab a pouch throw something in there that you think will be useful. For me, this included scrunchies, dewrinkler spray, deodorant, rosewater facial spray, lotion, gum, emergency money, bodywash etc. etc. Like I said, fill a pouch with what you think would be useful and store it, for me I stored this in the arm console.
5. Some car coasters- be classy
I bought these really cute cow print (don’t judge me) car coasters off of Amazon and when I tell you they lowkey be changing the game. Even when I don’t particularly have drinks there all the time, they still catch change, dust, spills etc. and I just have to give them a little wash in the sink every once in a while, to keep them looking cute. Plus, they look cute!
6. A tissue holder
A few months ago, I seen this hack on TikTok where a young lady bought a car tissue holder and instead of filling it with tissue, she filled it with disposable mask! This was a great idea especially since we were in a panorama! So, if you’re one of the very few that still wear your mask (no judgement, like DJ Khaled said, you SMART) this one’s for you saweetie!
7. Netflix and Chill To Go
Next up is this fabulous steering wheel tray perfect for having lunch in your car! I personally use this when I'm on a road trip and I stop for a quick bite, this tray plus the magnetic phone holders in #2 and you have the ultimate Netflix and Chill setup in the comfort of your car!
Some other necessities that you can get from literally anywhere:
8. A change of clothes for a switch up
9. Some of your favorite car freshener
10. A blanket AND hoodie
11. Athletic gear for when I don’t feel like going home before (gym clothes, yoga mat, posture corrector, jump rope, etc.)
12. A nice book
13. Gum DUH.
14. COMFORTABLE shoes
15. A pair of earrings
16. Ring light + Tripod
I hope this list was helpful, and if you have some of your own must haves that did not make the list don’t be shy to leave a comment below! I’m always looking to add things as well!
Until Next Time,
KC
